Mediamax Network Limited has heightened the screening of World Cup matches across the country with an updated list of venues that will bring a fun-packed viewing experience from Qatar to your doorstep.

This is after the media company acquired the rights through AFS International in partnership with FIFA.

With an elaborate plan to showcase 28 matches of the global football competition on big screens, Mediamax has picked the following strategic spots for screening in Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu, Eldoret, and Meru.

On Friday, November 25, when Qatar will be hosting Senegal at 4:00 pm, Mediamax will be beaming the action at Black Paarl Lounge in Kisumu before returning to the same venue for Tunisia vs Australia duel on Saturday.

On Friday, December 2, and Saturday, December 3, the big screen will be at Maasai Resort in Mombasa for the Ghana vs Uruguay and Cameroon vs Brazil actions respectively.

Railways Grounds/Nyayo Gardens and Eagle Nest bar in Nakuru will host Mediamax team for the public viewing of the tournament’s quarter-finals on Friday, December 9, and Saturday, December 10.

This will pave way for the much-awaited semis which will be beamed live from several locations and bars in Eldoret including outside Zion Mall and Tamasha bar.

Big screens will be at Makutano Junction (on location) and Checkmate bar in Meru on Saturday, December 17 when the third-place play-off match will be played.

Beaming of the final match will be staged in Nairobi (Greenspan) and Kisumu (Jomo Kenyatta Grounds) among other venues which will be communicated in time.

It is expected that some of Kenya's biggest celebrity radio, television, and social media stars, leading political figures and business leaders will join in watching the games.

"This is the first time FIFA has granted these rights in Kenya. We are excited to partner with Kenya's leading media networks to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Kenya," Andrea Silva, Chairman of AFS International based in Switzerland said.

Mediamax is an innovative broadcast and publishing media house in Kenya boasting a host of opinion-shaping and fresh brands spanning Radio, Print, TV, and Digital.
