Their opponents, Tusker FC, had experienced mixed results, winning just two of their opening five matches and being held to a goalless draw by FC Talanta the previous weekend.

The first half of the match ended without any goals, and the decisive goal came in the 70th minute.

Former Tusker FC player Rodgers Aloro delivered a long free-kick into the box, where Vincent Nyabuto reacted quickly to head in the winning goal, securing three crucial points for Shabana.

Shabana climb

With this victory, Shabana climbed out of the danger zone, moving to 14th place with six points from six matches, while Tusker FC currently sits in sixth place with eight points.
