Jubilee extends application deadline for nominations
Jubilee has extended the application deadline for members seeking the party’s nomination certificate by a week due to what the Secretariat called overwhelming demand.
Incidentally, the new deadline of March 25 is just a day shy of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission’s own deadline of March 26.
A notice from the National Elections Board has called on applicants to use the official party website to apply plus the bank details for payment of nomination fees.
In a related development, a clash is looming after Jubilee declared to field candidates in all contested seats in Mombasa.
Although the party has pledged solidarity with the Azimio La Umoja coalition, the Mombasa leadership, led by Secretary Nelson Akwaka (pictured) , said it is targeting to garner seats in all wards, Parliament, Senate and Women Rep seats.
