Infotrak: Wiper candidates dominate race for W***n Rep, Governor and Senator in Kitui

If elections were held today, all Wiper Democratic Party candidates for gubernatorial, senatorial and woman representative positions in Kitui would win the seats according to the latest opinion polls by Infotrak.

Former governor Dr Julius Malombe is leading the race with 61 percent of the vote followed by former senator David Musila at 19 percent.

United Democratic Alliance's (UDA) Jonathan Mueke has two percent while 18 percent are undecided.

In the senatorial race, the incumbent Enoch Kiio is leading with 50 percent with 39 percent of the voter block undecided.

Kilonzo Stephen Mutua comes second with four percent while Mutukaa Joseph is third with two percent as well as Mati Wilfred Nyamu who has two percent.

Wiper candidate for woman rep

In the woman-representative race, Irene Kasalu is leading with 44 percent, a number smaller than the undecided population of 46 percent.

Former Deputy Governor Peninah Malonza comes second at 8 percent while Kitemange Emmah and Ann Mutisya have one percent each.

Wiper is the most popular party in Kitui at 35 percent followed by ODM at 18 and UDA at 17 percent. 28 percent are undecided on their party of choice.
