"Governor Kivutha is known as a defender of human rights worldwide and that is why I'm very surprised by his action. I cannot say that I have wronged the governor or the other way round," Mwau said.
The DG was elected into office in 2013 on a joint Muungano party ticket with Governor Kibwana before they won the seat using Wiper party in 2017.
