Amani National Congress (ANC) party's much-awaited National Delegates Conference (NDC) is underway at Bomas of Kenya.

ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and his motorcade have already made their entry to the venue where a major announcement that Mudavadi had said will shake the nation politically, is set to be made.

Among other things, Mudavadi who is one of the principals of One Kenya Alliance (OKA) will be endorsed as the party's presidential candidate in readiness for the upcoming general election set for August 9.

Yesterday, key members of the party revealed that they will also use the opportunity to unveil their political friends and launch their manifesto.

"We have invited all Kenyans of goodwill but we have not invited our competitors. It must be very clear that this NDC is for ANC and her friends.

"We have not invited any of our competitors because we are alive to the fact that we are going into a battle that requires us to prepare enough to handle our opponents and we cannot call them in our strategy meeting," Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala, who has also arrived at Bomas of Kenya, said.

Sources say that members of Deputy President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party will attend the event.
