Trans Nzoia  Governor Patrick Khaemba has dismissed criticism from a section of people criticizing some of his flagship projects and told them to stop peddling lies aimed at gaining 'cheap publicity'.

Khaemba  accused those criticizing his administration, promoting hate and told them to show the projects they had initiated in their respective areas instead of   inciting people  against him.

Speaking to the People Daily in his office, Governor Khaemba  termed the corruption allegations leveled against him as hogwash and challenged any of them to produce any evidence of graft against him.

"Trans nzoia has become a factory of all lies and cheap propaganda. These people should stop the culture of pulling down my trousers while I'm on a tree fetching for fruits for the people of Trans nzoia. I'm challenging them to come out with evidence implicating me or else they will be asked to explain," said the furious governor.

He said those accusing him falsely had done nothing for the people and asked the people of Trans Nzoia to ignore their lies that they are using to gain political mileage.

He told residents not to listen to cheap propaganda and instead appealed to them to help him address the challenges which he said will be past tense in few months upon completion of the flagship projects.

The County boss said his administration had so far  achieved some of the development goals and singled out the County referral and teaching hospital which was 99 per cent complete.

He added that the modern bus park was 100 per cent complete and would be opened soon.

Last week some leaders led by Hospital Ward MCA Eric Wafula accused the County administration for failing to complete the two flagship projects on time and threatened to invite investigative agencies to access the unfinished works.
