Lurambi MP Bishop Titus Khamala says he owes no one an apology for ditching the ANC party for Azimio and vowed to triumph in his re-election bid.

Khamala in apparent reference to critics of his January defection said no one paid him to build ANC to expect reference, adding he would use same strategy to sell his re-election bid.

“Those questioning me for ditching ANC and warning that it was a risky affair, should know they are mistaken. I’m an old hand in politics,” he declared noting the country’s top political leadership were not in parties they used in 2017 polls. He said it was a season of seeking new friendships, adding that only the dynamic would survive the current political tide.

“I’ve been in politics since 1992 as a Ford Asili youth leader to 2002 as a Narc nominated councillor, 2013 under UDF and ANC in 2017 and can assure you  politics keeps changing.” He made the remarks at Sheywe School where he launched the release of the final batch of the 2021 constituency bursary scheme.
