Pastor arrested over bizarre worship

Police in West Pokot are investigating a  pastor over bizarre activities conducted in his church.

The cleric Samuel Kalwari, was arrested yesterday for allegedly forcing children to abandon school and join his church, where they worship naked.

He was taken to Kapenguria police station for further investigations and will be arraigned today.

Kipkomo sub county police commandant Mohamed Kofa  said  the parents of the affected children have also been arrested.
