Paul Pogba’s second spell at Manchester United is increasingly likely to be coming to an end with reports that he has no interest in signing a new deal.

Pogba has just months remaining on his current contract at Old Trafford and will be able to discuss a free transfer with clubs abroad from January.

And according to the Manchester Evening News it seems set that Pogba will be leaving United rather than renewing with the midfielder not showing any inclination to do the latter.

The 28-year-old started the season in electrifying form - registering seven assists in four Premier League outings for the Red Devils.

However, since then his form has tailed off drastically and he was sent off within minutes of coming on as a second-half substitute in the 5-0 home humiliation by Liverpool.

The World Cup winner with France was disappointing once again on Tuesday night during United’s 2-2 Champions League draw at Atalanta - being hauled off on 69 minutes.

Pogba’s withdrawal was a big statement by under-fire manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - especially considering when fellow central midfielder Scott McTominay was on a yellow card and they need to chase an equaliser with the scoreline 2-1 in Atalanta’s favour.

And reflecting on his performance post-match, United legend Paul Scholes was damning of Pogba’s effort: ‘Pogba needs somebody on him all the time. Somebody there that he totally respects, he needs experienced people behind him.

‘Pogba needs somebody on him all the time. Somebody there that he totally respects, he needs experienced people behind him.

‘He’ll still be doing the stupid stuff where he’s stud rolling the ball, holding people off showing how strong and skilful he is. -Dailymail
