Trans Nzoia County Members of  County Assembly on Thursday scoffed at the allies of Orange Democratic Movement ( ODM) party leader Raila Odinga for orchestrating the de-whipping  of Kiminini MP Dr. Chris Wamalwa from the position of the National Assembly’s Deputy Minority Whip.

They blamed Odinga for silently sponsoring chaotic political realignments tailored at 'drifting the country back to one party dictatorship to pave way for his last stab at the presidency after making several unsuccessful attempts'.

The MCAs, mainly from Ford Kenya’s Bungoma and Trans Nzoia turfs warned that they would use all means to ensure ODM Leader pays for his political mistakes which included having stood on the way of Former Vice President Michael Kijana Wamalwa and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula to advance their stab at the country’s presidency.

Speaking to the People Daily at the Trans Nzoia County Assembly Centre, the leaders who were led by Saboti  MCA David Kapoloman maintained that the ODM leader had embarked on a dirty scheme of misusing the   handshake   to intimidate and silence other politicians not singing his tune.

Kapoloman  who was elected on the former United Republican Party ( URP) ticket which was allied to Deputy President Dr. William Ruto said the ODM functionaries who had gone crazy with unchecked political power were busy intimidating other NASA Coalition partners for their own political greed.

‘’Our clear message to ODM Leader Raila Odinga is that he should not use the handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta to pretend that he is building the bridges when indeed he is breaking the very bridges that he used for his false Canaan land’’, he said.

Other MCAs Rogers Barasa and Margaret Sabina Wanjala said  that they not only planned to support for the Kiminini MP be elected Trans Nzoia Governor in 2022  but were also firmly in the support of building bridges with other leaders among them Deputy President William Ruto to bolster his grip on the presidency.
