Bunyore Starlets coach Daniel Arunga has urged his side not to drop any points in the remaining two games to enable them end the first leg of the league among the top four sides.

Arunga yesterday told People Sport that if they secure the six points from the two matches left they will be guaranteed a top four place on the table of standings as the campaign takes a short break.

“Once we end the first leg among the best top four teams then will high bargaining power in the second leg,” Arunga said.

He added: “As a coach I have done all what it is needed together with my assistant coach to sharpen our players and we are ready to pick the six points.”

The team is currently in position five on the table with 16 points. Top on the table is Vihiga Queens with 19 points, Gaspo position two, Thika Queens are in position three and Nakuru is position four with 17 points.

Arunga said the club was currently on form and that all players were fit for the match.

“The short break we had has helped because it created room for some players to recover the minor injuries they had,” he said.

“As Bunyore Starlets family we are happy that Susan Muhonja is back from the injury, Priscah Ambale is also back from the suspension so we are fit to go full blast,” said Arunga.

Muhonja has been out of the field for the last two months and she made her first appearance during the Zetech match at Cambridge stadium in Nairobi.
