Speedser exhibits driving masterclass at Sixth round of KCB Kenya National Autocross Championship

Champion Sahib Omar emerged the winner in the 4WD Non-Turbo Class as curtains came down on the sixth round of the KCB Kenya National Autocross Championship.
He beat Eric Bengi (00:06:06.182) to second position in what went down as a thrilling race organised by Vintage and Classic Car Club of Kenya.
Sahib also garnered two bonus points by setting the overall fastest time of the day when he cleared Heat Two in 00.01.59.425.
Nine-year-old girl driver Kiana Rajput won the Pee Wee Class which is the lowest class in the championship in terms of age.
Kiana beat newcomer Eann Bengi who is the son of Bengi. Eann ran his first ever race incidentally in Karanveer’s old buggy.
Guraj Singh won the Quad Class in a time of 00:07;22.432miniutes.
Rajveer Thethy in a Daewoo 2WD emerged the winner in the Two Wheel Drive Non-Turbo Car Class beating Sam Karangatha (Subaru) second place.
Rajveer timed 00:06:42.378minutes in his best of three heat classification.

Yuvraj Rajput won Bambino Class after beating Karamveer Singh to second position.
“Karanveer drove really well and gave me a run for my money. He had a new buggy. Sadly, mine developed mechanical problems and I couldn’t just achieve pace in heat 2. I’m still leading the championship and looking forward to a great season ahead,” said Champion Yuvraj.
Nuru Abubakar, Regional Business Manager KCB, Nairobi Central Region, congratulated all the winners for a great race weekend.
“Over the past 18 years, KCB has invested over Sh1.2 billion towards supporting motorsports, largely rallies and autocross circuits, through Kenya Motorsports Federation (KMSF).
Additionally, over the past decade, KCB has invested Sh820 million in supporting the bank’s sports teams—football, volleyball, rugby, and chess.
The bank has also spent over Sh300 million on golf in the past 10 years,” said Nuru.
