Central region Ward Reps pledge support for BBI
MCAs from Central Kenya have promised to support the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), saying they have already started collecting views from citizens to present to initiative secretariat led by Senator Yusuf Haji.
“We urge all assemblies to support this initiative as it is the only channel our views and the needs of the people we represent can be addressed,” said County Assemblies Forum (CAF) chairperson and Nyandarua Speaker Ndegwa Wahome while briefing the media at a Nyeri hotel after the inaugural CAF Central Kenya Cluster.
Kiambu County Assembly Speaker Stephen Ndicho led Members, including Majority leader Gideon Gachara, and Ngugi Ngigi Thithia in presenting their views and concerns.
The reps were from Kiambu, Kirinyaga, Murang’a, Nyeri and Nyandarua counties.
