State House race: Ruto camps in Rift Valley

Deputy President William Ruto will be transversing the Rift Valley region today to woo voters as D-day nears.

The DP will move across some of the areas considered to be his strongholds cutting across four counties; West Pokot, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Nandi and Uasin Gishu.

The Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate will begin his day at Nandi Hills, Nandi Hills Constituency before proceeding to Kesses, Kesses Constituency at noon.

In the afternoon, Ruto’s team will proceed to Moiben, Moiben Constituency, then Chelang'a Gardens in Kapenguria Constituency and later Tot, Marakwet East Constituency.

He will finalize his rallies today in Iten, Keiyo North Constituency.

On the other hand, Kenya Kwanza principal and ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi will woo voters in Kakamega county.

Mudavadi will move from Khwisero constituency before proceeding to Luanda-Wemilabi and later Khusikulu.

At noon, he will proceed to Vihiga -Wangoya market, Hamisi -Kinuu market and later at 4 pm he will finalize his tour in Mambai market.

Yesterday, the DP completed his Kericho County tour addressing supporters at the historic Kapkatet Grounds- a place revered by the Kalenjin community for important political declarations.
