Tigania East MP Josphat Kabeabea has urged presidential candidates; ODM leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto to accept August poll results in order to avoid plunging the country into chaos after the election.

The legislator who spoke in Meru where he commissioned the construction of Kiiguro Day Secondary school which is funded by CDF, said the country's peace will be determined by the presidential candidates' behaviour in August.

While drumming up support for William Ruto, Kabeabea exuded confidence that the Deputy President will beat Raila in the upcoming election.

"We are sure that Ruto will win the election but we are asking all the candidates, including Raila, to accept the outcomes for the sake of our peace," Kabeabea said.

Claiming Raila has no support in Mt.Kenya East, the lawmaker affirmed that the vote-rich region will rally behind Ruto whom he says is the only leader who can politically reward the mountain and carry the agenda of the nation forward.

The lawmaker further lauded the Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi for joining UDA.

"We are telling Raila to watch this space. In the next two months, UDA will be a powerful movement because many more parties are joining to form a strong coalition that will shake Azimio la Umoja," he added.
