After weeks of speculations that ODM presidential candidate Jimi Wanjigi was working with One Kenya Alliance (OKA), Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has now made it clear that he (Wanjigi) is not part of the alliance.

Speaking to the press at Wiper party headquarters, Kalonzo explained that, despite the fact that Jimi has been seen with OKA principals, he has not formally joined the outfit. He said Jimi can only join the alliance once he sorts out his issues with his party, ODM.

"Jimi made it very clear that he is in ODM and until they resolve their issues as a party, he is not on the table," Kalonzo asserted.

Kalonzo's statement comes days after Jimi accompanied him and other OKA principals in their various rallies in the Ukambani region.

In one of the rallies, Jimi also clarified that he was not a member of OKA but a friend of the principals. He noted that he is a firm member of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and that his party leader is Riala Odinga.

“I want you leaders and Kenyans to get me clearly that I'm a very good friend of the OKA principals but I'm not in OKA. I have my party called ODM,” Jimi said in a rally in Kitui.
