15 EACC officials conferred with State awards, honours

15 Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) officials have been conferred with State awards and honours during the 60th Jamhuri Day celebrations.

The 15 are among hundreds of Kenyans conferred with the honours by President William Ruto due to their exemplary service to the nation.

The awards are issued in recognition of distinguished and outstanding services rendered to the nation in various capacities and responsibilities.

EACC Chief Executive Officer Twalib Mbarak has been conferred with the Moran of the Order of the Golden Heart (MGH), the highest State Honour by the President.

EACC Vice Chairperson Dr Monica Muiru and the Director for Preventive Services Vincent Okong'o have been awarded the Moran of the Burning Spear (MBS).

  1. Humphrey Mahiva - Deputy Director, Intelligence Operations
  2. David Kaboro - Deputy Director, Ethics Development
  3. Ignatius Wekesa - Regional Manager, Nakuru Office
  4. Alfred Mwachuga - Assistant Director, Report and Data Centre
  5. Emily Ibeere - Assistant Director, Ethics Monitoring

Head of State Commendation (HSC)

  1. Jackie Kibogy - Legal Officer
  2. Catherine Ngari - Investigations Officer
  3. Elijah Wahome - Investigations Officer
  4. Patricia Chebet - Investigations Officer
  5. Shallet Walongo - Education Officer, Malindi Office
  6. Irene Ndirangu- Corporate Affairs and Protocol Officer
  7. Haretha Ahmedi - Procurement Officer
