A former MP from Western Kenya, who has become the face of the campaign strategy of a candidate in the Kibra by-election, is on the spot over (mis)management of the campaign kitty.

Two youthful MPs from the candidate’s party want to wrestle control of the kitty.

They have accused the seasoned politician of using campaign money to pay off personal debts, disadvantaging the party flag-bearer.

But the former MP has told off the two and vowed to hold onto the kitty.
