Nakuru governor Lee Kinyanjui on Friday November 12, 2021 stated that as for him and his people, they are safer under ODM presidential candidate, Raila Odinga.

Lee, who was speaking at a meeting convened by the former prime minister in Makueni County, further took a swipe at leaders issuing promises instead of premising their campaigns on their track records.

"For me and my people, we have looked amd feel we are safer under Raila Odinga. For those of us who have been in office, you run on record not on promise. The people who run on promise are those who have not been in office," he said.

The county head was joined by his colleagues in assuring the former premier of their unwavering support ahead of the 2022 general elections.

Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana, Kitui governor Charity Ngilu and Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, avowed their support for Raila in next year's polls.
