We don’t need you in Nasa, ODM told

Sabatia MP Alfred Agoi has challenged ODM MPs to leave the National Super Alliance (Nasa) without causing confusion in the coalition.
Speaking in his constituency yesterday, Agoi dismissed claims by some ODM leaders that Nasa would die after the Kibra by-election.
The Amani National Alliance (ANC) MP said ODM’s departure from Nasa would not weaken the coalition.
“If ODM wants to leave Nasa, it should do so quietly without causing friction and confusion. ODM should not tell us that their departure will mark the end of the alliance,” he said.
Agoi said ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi was busy solidifying his support across the country in readiness to capture the presidency in the 2022 election.
He asked ODM leader Raila Odinga to support Mudavadi, saying the ANC leader had sacrificed a lot for him in the past.
“It is time for Raila to reciprocate and back Mudavadi for the top seat,” said Agoi.
Vihiga County Woman Representative Beatrice Adagala asked Western region leaders to give Mudavadi their full backing.
Adagala said if Mudavadi received full support of the Western region, he would stand high chance of winning the presidency in 2022.
