Presidential aspirant Reuben Kigame has come out to express his disappointment following his disqualification from the presidential race by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

Speaking during a press release, the presidential hopeful decried discrimination stating that the IEBC boss, Wafula Chebukati, treated him as a non-entity owing to the fact that his name had been omitted from the list of qualified and non-qualified candidates.

"They treat me as an accident, they treat persons with disability with disdain, it will not happen because we will not be silenced," he stated

While pointing out the faults in the IEBC process, the presidential hopeful pledged to restore its functionality and hold the perpetrators accountable.

"We speak so that the citizens can get better government, the things that our oppressors, the things that our dictators failed to do, we shall do if you give us a chance, so help us, God," he added.

Kigame was flanked by Safina party presidential flagbearer Jimi Wanjigi who also aired out his grievances following his disqualification by the IEBC.

In his complaints, Wanjigi faulted the government for what he termed as dictatorship stating that they have activated harsh punishments used during Moi's regime to shut their voice.

Expressing optimism, Wanjigi pledged to fight against the theatrics posed by the government.
