Nakuru City Queens hosts Zetech Sparks at the ASK Nakuru Grounds Sunday in an exciting Round 7 duel of the ongoing Women Premier League.

Both teams have had a good season so far with second-placed Queens on 13 points off six matches with a goal difference of +8. City Queens have a good scoring record lately with 14 goals to their advantage with only conceded and thus far have lost only once in the Championship. With four wins so far, they are the second team with the most victories in the Division. As for Zetech, they are placed fourth in the log with 10 points off six matches with a return of three wins and one draw and two losses. Their goal-scoring record is also commendable with 16 goals scored and a goal difference currently standing at +9.

In another exciting game, league leaders and unbeaten Vihiga Queens travel to Thika to face recovering Thika Queens at Thika Stadium in a lunchtime kick-off Sunday. The hosts, who are currently on nine points off six matches, have three wins and an equal number of losses after beginning the campaign on a low. As for the visiting Queens, their impeccable record-breaking run continues and so far the only team to go beyond 20 goals in this campaign with zero goals conceded which goes to show their ruthlessness upfront and discipline defensively.

Meanwhile tomorrow Ulinzi Starlets hosts Wadadia at the Ulinzi Complex in a mid-morning clash with the latter wanting to recover from their last loss to Nakuru City Queens. Fifth-placed Starlets have 10 points off six matches with three wins thus far and a goal difference of +5 while Wadadia is eighth on the log with seven points for their troubles after posting only two wins in six encounters.

In other games lined up; struggling side Kangemi Ladies FC tomorrow welcome seventh-placed Bunyore Starlets FC who have nine points in the bag against the slum girls’ three points. This would appear an easy game on paper at GEMS Cambridge for the visitors who have two wins in this campaign so far. Elsewhere Kisumu Allstarlets FC faces off with Gaspo FC at Moi Stadium in a lunchtime kick-off on Sunday.
