Full list of politicians accompanying Ruto, Mudavadi in their 10-day UK, USA tour
The full list of politicians accompanying Deputy President William Ruto and Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi can now be revealed.
Mudavadi and Ruto on Sunday, February 27 left the country for a 10-day tour of the United States of America (USA) and the United Kingdom (UK).
The duo was invited by Senior Government officials and top policy institutes in the two countries.
K24 Digital has established that DP Ruto will engage in a number of talks on matters of foreign policy and economic development in not only Kenya but also the East African region at large.
He is scheduled to speak at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Center for Strategic and International Studies and also at the University of Arizona’s Washington Entrepreneurship Hub.
The duo is also supposed to meet a number of officials at the State Department and the Pentagon as well as the US Government National Security Council (NSC) advisor.
Ruto will also meet Kenyans living in both countries. It is during the two meetings that he will ask Kenyans living in the diaspora in a bid to drum up support for his presidential bid.
On Sunday morning the envoy that joined Ruto was flanked by Second Lady Rachel Ruto, Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya, Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru and Narok Governor Josephat Nanok.
The list of leaders who accompanied the duo include; Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu), Kimani Ichungwa of Kikuyu, Kandara MP Alice Wahome and Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua.
Others are; Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Uasin Gishu Senator Margaret Kamar.
Also on the list are; Garissa Township MP Aden Duale, Kilifi North’s MP Owen Baya, Narok County Woman Representative Soipan Tuya, Vihiga Woman Representative Beatrice Adagala.
Others are aides and support staff from the Office of the Deputy President who include; David Ndii, former Citizen TV anchor Hussein Mohamed
