Drama at U-20 event in Kasarani as CS, family turned away

Drama ensued at the World Athlet- ics Under-20 Championships venue at Karasani when a Cabinet Secretary arrived with his family and demanded entrance to the VIP section.
He wanted to be allowed to sit at the section reserved for the President but the security detail were under strict instruc- tions not to allow anyone without the prerequisite documentation to access the area.
Given an offer to watch the event from the stands or from the TV at home, he chose the latter.
