KCSE results out ah**d of Christmas, says Magoha

Keya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results for the 2019 candidates will be out before Christmas, Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha revealed on Friday.

Magoha and his Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang announced that Kenyans would mark the festive season day after knowing the results for thousands of candidates who sat for the examination.

The CS said that there had been some isolated cases of impersonation in Kisii and Migori counties but indicated that the government had taken action.

Addressing parents, teachers and students Kapsisiywa secondary where he handed a cheque worth Sh.100 million from president Uhuru Kenyatta for construction of the new library and administration block in honour of Eliud Kipchoge, Magoha said that the ministry had put in place mechanisms to ensure that results are released before Yuletide.

The CS said that the new school would be expanded from the current Kapsisiywa secondary school and be ready by June next year.

Eliud Kipchoge who accompanied the minister thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta for the assistance which, he observed, would bolster education in the area.
