Oburu Odinga’s son Jaoko leads BBI campaigns in Western

Yotha co chairman Jaoko Oburu has asked Kenyans to embrace the BBI to end political instability witnessed after every electioneering year.

Oburu Odinga's son and Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) campaigner Jaoko Oburu has asked Kenyans not to believe that the BBI is unpopular.

Jaoko said the BBI is a vehicle to help Kenyans achieve unity and end divisive politics .

The Young Turks for Handshake Alliance Co Chair said in Kitale that the BBI is the best opportunity for Kenyans to achieve unity.

Jaoko urged Kenyans to grab the chance provided in the BBI to cultivate unity and foster peace in the country.

"My fellow Kenyans we must grab the opportunity provided in BBI to unite and let our leaders stop divisive politics which has frustrated development for decades," said Jaoko.


He said it is the best initiative to liberate Kenyans from tribal and economic hostage adding that those opposed to the it lack the interest of the country.

"I grew seeing leaders struggling for human rights and power. It is high time to bring everybody on board   to end the power struggle," he said.

He said the BBI is the only cure to power struggles and will help Kenyans feel where they belong.

"Let us support this  document. It is a cure  to the persitent power struggles by political leaders. We will feel our identify as Kenyans as it brings everyone one board," said Jaoko.

The Member of the County Assembly for Kapomboi Ben Wanjala said they will only market it if they are funded.

"It will be hard for us to popularize the document among the locals unless we are provided with enough funds to facilitate the mission," said Wanjala.
