Well wishers urged to help people living with disability

Well wishers in Trans Nzoia County have been challenged to reach out to persons living with disabilities who have been hit with the economic slowdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Trans Nzoia County Commissioner Samson Ojwang and the head of infrastructure and ICT at the deputy president’s office Kakai Bissau talked during a visit to a disabled woman's home  at Folkland area in Namanjalala location.

The County Commissioner said many elderly people whose homesteads were destroyed by ravaging floods are  living in pathetic conditions and needed urgent attention. 

On his part, Bisau said the government was deeply concerned about the most vulnerable Persons.

He said refurbishing of an elderly Woman  Rosemary Chepkemboi’s house which has been in bad condition was just part of the government's commitment.
