Youths told to invest in money-making ventures

Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi has called on the youth to venture into income generating business activities and develop culture of saving to boost their financial well being.

Osotsi, while addressing hundreds of youth in Vihiga County during Vihiga boda boda Sacco fund raise and groundbreaking for the construction of their investment plaza at Manyatta said youth have potential to empower themselves economically if they venture into long term income generating activities.

Osotsi also challenged political leaders to empower youths by supporting them with funds to enable them start or strength their business activities. Osotsi noted that youths are badly hit by high cost of living and unemployment and they deserve to be financially supported to strengthen their financial status. He asked youths to join financial institutions which offer soft loans and business grants.
