Confusion after Jubilee honcho makes statement

Consternation and confusion reigned at a funeral in Muranga yesterday when a leading Jubilee Party adherent said an opposition leader appointed a politician from the region to take a senior position in senate.

The Jubilee leader, on a path to popularise the opposition leader let the bag out, something that was immediately clarified by people in attendance to diffuse what it expected to be a time bomb for the politician in the region that has refused to accept the leader the region always votes against.

Released businessman goes under with family

A suspect arrested and released last week in the scandal surrounding an illegal gun held by a businessman in Nairobi has gone underground.

Detectives have been trying to crack the puzzle that has seen the family relocate from their residence in Nairobi’s Eastlands.
