Former Forestry Minister Noah Wekesa has said that God has revealed to him that Deputy President William Ruto will not be the President of Kenya in the August 9 elections.

Speaking in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County, Wekesa said Azimio One Kenya Coalition candidate, Raila Odinga will floor Ruto in the hotly contested race.

"God has favoured me with a gift of prophecy; he has revealed to me that Raila Odinga will win this election with a very huge margin," Wekesa said.

Noah Wekesa predicted Uhuru's win

Wekesa famed for leading the formation of political coalitions and alliances said his former prophecies came to pass and he is very sure the same will recur in this year's elections.

"In 2013, I predicted that President Uhuru Kenyatta would win and that is exactly what happened the same case in 2017; I'm sure my prophecy won't go wrong," he reiterated.

He also said results from various opinion polls have supported his prediction and asked Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders not to discredit the polls results.

"I have heard Kenya Kwanza brigade negating opinion polls because they do not favour them. The polls results are in synch with my prophecy" Wekesa said.

The former Kwanza constituency Member of Parliament urged politicians across the country to tame their tongues in their campaign trails.

"A loose tongue is very dangerous. I, therefore, ask all politicians in either of the political divide to be very careful with what they tell the electorates in their campaigns" Wekesa warned.

He also asked Kenyans not to accept to be divided along tribal lines and political parties affiliations.

"Politics will come and go, never accept to hate your neighbour because he or she supports a different candidate from the one you are supporting" he appealed.
